A very good friend of mine owns a Gelato Store in Queen St called Giapo. His name is Gianpolo  Grazioli.  On meeting Gianpolo  2 years  ago I never ever would of imagined what an impact this Italian born man would have on me and my life.

I have never met another man EVER as passionate about his business as Gianpolo. He has taught me so many life lessons in such a short time. Compassion for others, passion for life and business, commitment, and most importantly love !

Gianpolo is passionate about Gelato, not just Gelato but organic Gelato.  Owning a store isnt enough for Gianpolo he uses his store to help him in my mind “Save the World” He gives so much and today was geared to raise money to buy Starship Hospital a Mass Flow Respiratory sensor. $4000 was raised which means that Starship will get a fantastic gift for Christmas which will help save children’s life’s.

Gianpolo works relentlessly to help others. I have met no other man who gives as much and is as passionate.

The biggest impact Gianpolo had on me was once when I visited him we were discussing our businesses and I was despondent about my business as people were continually stealing my ideas and he turned towards me, leant in close and said “ No one can take your passion Pauline you are your business and no one can duplicate you or your passion”  This sentence has ran through my head a thousand times since then. He was absolutely right and that sentence has helped me not only grow my business but it has helped me relax more within my business. No one can take my passion, they might duplicate my ideas but I always will get new ones.

Gianpolo has the biggest heart,  he has helped many causes these last two years and he just continues to give!   If every business gave back as much as Gianpolo did what a world we would live in!

Giving a little can make a difference, what will you give in 2011?

Gianpolo has taught me so much and I just want to tell him from the bottom of my heart that he is adored and loved by me!

Ive thought to myself a few time this week "Am i Mad" Making each Treehut child their own Ginger bread house has been a challenge.  ( i have muttered bad words under my breath) but yesterday they started to put them together and the excitement and joy they got out of it was well worth it.

Parents were scorned for being picked up early and children who are doing theirs today went bouncing out of treehut excited, talking 5 miles an hour.

I have had a few people ask me if they are the kit sets. No absolutely not! I like to be in control from start to finish. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the kid sets, its just you cant make them how you want them. I like small extra features like balcony's, and different shaped windows and doors.

CHRISTMAS is about magic........... beautifully made items, spending time in the kitchen baking the few weeks before Christmas builds it up. Decorating the house like a fairy land, the smells of nutmeg, and cinnamon. Making your own  decorations and crackers........... and it all helps in your childs development as well as building strong memories.

I am a big one on family traditions and this would be one of our favorite traditions.

Christmas is my favorite time of year.
